Enjoy Christmas at Crinan Canal Cottage No4 or New Year at Crinan Canal Cottage No8
No8 is one of two self-catering canal side holiday cottages which sleeps four on the banks of the Crinan Canal, Cairnbaan, on the west coast of Argyll. Both No 4 and No8 cottages are ideal holiday lets for walking, sailing, fishing and cycling along the nearby tow path towards Lochgilphead, nearby woodland tracks and Kilmartin. Both cottages have now received a Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor.
The ground floor in No8 comprises a newly fitted kitchen with a dining area and a cosy open plan sitting room with views across the canal and an enclosed wood-burning fire. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a claw foot bath and hand held shower. One well behaved small dog is allowed in both cottage living areas but only under responsible supervision and by prior arrangement. Crinan Canal Cottages do not charge for dogs - which are most welcome together with their responsible owners. Both cottages have free Broadband and free Wi-fi.
The front private garden at Crinan Canal Cottage No8 is full of plants, herbs - which change throughout the year and little paths, and has space to sit out during the summer months. There is a table and chairs for dining out weather permitting in the front garden in the summer months. Also provided is a bike and wood store in the lane at the rear of the property.
General: Log fire and electric panel heaters, TV/DVD player with Freeview, Free Broadband, Wi-Fi .
Standard: Kettle, Toaster, Hair Dryer.
Utilities: Washer/dryer. Electric oven and hob. Microwave, Fridge.
Furniture: Single beds (2), Double beds (1), Dining table and seats for 4, Lounge seats for 4. Other: High chair can be available on request.
Outdoors: Private front garden, shared front green, bicycles available for hire in Lochgilphead, Private fishing (loch or river) permits available for Loch Awe or on the canal.
Access: Adequate off road parking available for both cottages at either end of terrace.
Minimum stay varies throughout the year. Changeover day flexible outwith high season.

Prices are based on the start date of your holiday and are for usually for one week (Saturday to Saturday). The cottage is also available to rent for weekends (Fri-Mon) and midweek (Mon-Fri) out-with the peak periods.
Entry is usually available after 3pm and departure is by 10am or by pre arrangement.
